GIVE ME THE SKINNY BABY!
I'm now down 33.5 lbs!  Thank you Jesus! If I can do it so can you!

After fighting a hormone imbalance and low thyroid I tried everything under the sun to be thinner.  The weight would not budge even with starvation!  Ever been there?  Well I read and studied many things and came up with idea if I ate 6 small meals a day it would stimulate my body to lose weight.  I wanted to make sure I kept my caloric intake healthy but steady and I wanted to eat the foods I enjoy, Mexican, cereal etc. so I joined Weight Watchers.  I really like their program and it keeps me eating what I like yet not going over my daily calories.  I try to exercise 4 times per week, not always successfully but I'm trying!  I also try to keep my sugar intake none to very low, I use Stevia/truvia whenever possible and I try to avoid Splenda and Aspartamine.  Once in a while I have diet pudding or diet pop but I just try to eat lots of veggies and I live on these recipes.   I have set a one year goal to stay with my eating plan so if I mess up no big deal...I'm going for a LIFESTYLE!  I hope these are an encouragement to you and please write me and let me know how you are doing.  julietussey@gmail.com

We Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Us!

Give Me the Skinny Baby!
Fitness Tips and Recipes from a Vivacious & Voluptuous Girl
By Julie Tussey

Here’s the Skinny on Skinny Baby!  You don’t have to be skin and bone to be gorgeous but I’d like to encourage you to be what I call “Gorgeous Skinny ”. That is the best version of you that you can be.  Full figured or willowy just eat healthy, exercise and take care of yourself and you will be “Gorgeous Skinny”.  We don’t have to be runway models (and frankly I like to eat too much for that anyway!) but we can make our bodies, fit, healthy and trim and be the most Gorgeous Skinny Girls we can be!  I’m not skinny by any means but I can honestly say I’m healthy and sometimes downright trim.  I am convinced that if I did not apply myself to eating healthy and exercising (yes I know that’s a dirty word!) I would be a Two-Ton-Tussey!  My family is Italian, and believe you me we know how to cook and we know how to eat.  I am making my Jesus Resolution to be healthier and trimmer this year and I invite you to join me.  Whether you just need to eat better and move more or you have a large amount of weight to lose I am here for you.  I will be sharing a short “Skinny Baby! Pep Talk” and one of my Julie Tussey’s Skinny Baby! Recipes every month to help you be successful “Skinnifying” this year.   The Skinny Baby!  Pep TalkSmall Changes Over Time Equal BIG Weight Loss and a Healthier You!No matter the amount of weight you want to lose you can accomplish it by small steps.  Lower your fat intake and you lower your calories. Eat 500 calories less per day and lose one pound per week.   I have remade many of my favorite foods into “Julie Tussey’s Skinny Baby!  Recipes” which I will publish here for you every month. These will help you Skinnify.  Take time right now to determine what your ultimate goal is and then set small, obtainable, weekly goals at the beginning of each month.  i.e.:  I will walk 15 min. a day, 3 x’s this week.  When you exercise mark it on your calendar in a bright, colorful marker and at the end of the week celebrate (and not w/a Twinkie ;) your success!   Seven Steps to the Gorgeous Skinny Baby!
1.   Drink 8- 8 oz glasses of water per day.
(Start with one and add one more every day)
2.   Don’t drink your calories!
(Chew your calories! ;)
3.   Move that Gorgeous Body Baby!
(Park far away from the store entrance, walk the dog etc.)
4.   Cut 500 calories per day.
(That’s a bowl of cereal and a granola bar, easy Baby!)
5.   Eat what is good for you FIRST!  (Cravings? If you still want junk eat it after your healthy meal/snack)
6.  Chew sugarless gum immediately after a meal to ward off the need for dessert.
7.  Hunger pangs won’t kill you Baby!  (This was a total revelation for me!)
You can do this and if you are looking for a diet plan to join I highly recommend Weight Watchers.  All my recipes are WW friendly too.
